Welcome to LEARNING SUPPORT!

If a student has an Individual Education Program (IEP), the IEP will outline all or part of a student's program. The goals and objectives of the IEP will specify the learning outcomes that are expected and the level of performance that constitutes success. The curriculum materials utilized during instruction will vary according to the student's current instructional level.

Regular education curriculum materials are used whenever feasible, even if in a modified form. Under certain circumstances, alternative curricular materials are employed to best target the correct level of difficulty or to address highly specific needs of a learner.

In addition to traditional academics, an Individual Education Plan (IEP) may also contain goals and objectives that address needs in the areas of behavior, speech and language, occupational therapy, physical therapy, social skills, counseling, or gifted education. Under such circumstances, these learning outcomes are also integrated into a student's overall educational program at Pine Road.
