Star of the Week Schedule Kindergarten

     Your child will be the "Star of the Week" starting on a Monday and ending on the Friday of a given week.  Please see the schedule below.     All display cards/papers will be sent home with directions prior to your child's week so they will have ample time to complete them.  The cards/papers should be sent in on that Monday of your child's week.  You may also send them in the week before.  The cards will then be displayed in the classroom and returned to you the following week.      Your child will receive a "Star of the Week" tag on the first day of their week that they will wear every day to school.  They are encouraged to leave it in school overnight so as not to forget it.
     You are invited to read a book to the class by visiting our classroom or by recording it with your child sitting next to you at home. You can then email me the video and I will show it to the class.  Please select an appropriate book to read to the class.  It should be about 5-10 minutes in length.  (Please NO chapter books.)            Thank you for your cooperation!
