Students in first and third grades participated in a grant-funded, yoga and mindfulness workshop.
Using the breathing balls, students practiced slowing down and deepening their breathing, helping them to recognize how they can intentionally shift their focus.

Embracing what makes us unique! 🌟 Last week, our students paired up with their buddy classes for a meaningful No Place for Hate activity. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about one another and celebrate all the differences that make our community strong!
Student Ambassadors has officially started! Students have already put together a comprehensive spirit day calendar. We are looking forward to the impact they will make there at the school year!
On Fridays we celebrate students! Throughout the week students at Pine Road earn positive paws for demonstrating responsibility, respect, honesty, and kindness. These paws are placed in grade-level bins. At the end of every week, two student names from each grade are selected to earn a book from our vending machine. We are Pine Road Proud! 🦁

This week we have dived into Math! Students are engaging with new math tools, learning new games, and developing new skills! ✖️➗➕➖
What a fantastic evening spent as a community at the Pine Road Fitness Festival! This special event, in honor of Pine Road PE teacher Carol Lusignea, provided an opportunity for students and families to exercise through games and Zumba. We had close to a dozen community-based organizations come to share resources with our families. 🦁 Students especially enjoyed our teacher jump rope contest! 🥇
Pine Road students participated in grade level assemblies with Mrs. McMullan! Students learned all about what makes Pine Road a special place and about the new school theme, Step into Joy. Each grade level shared the things bring them joy every day! School-wide trends included family, friends, pets, sports and hobbies.💙🦁💛
