Throwback to last Friday when students participated in our Pillar Assembly! We learned about what it means to be responsible, read a book together, and met in classroom groups. What a wonderful way to foster school community!

LMTSD Students have exceeded growth standards in all PSSA Math and English Language Arts (ELA) grade levels. The district’s high school students also exceeded growth standards in Keystone Biology and met the growth standards in Keystone Algebra I and Keystone Literature.

Today we had our first No Place For Hate buddy activity! Students learned about the importance of being an ally and created a class quilt with buddies that showcases ally behaviors. Everyone had a great time!

Pine Road's first Fitness Festival was so much FUN! Families played games, did Zumba, and learned about active community organizations. This event was inspired by Carol Lusignea who was a very special PE teacher at Pine Road.

Today we had our first assemblies of the school year! Students learned about what makes Pine Road so special. They played a Kahoot game with their teacher and learned about the power of YET. Growth mindset will be weaved through our assemblies this year and highlights our school theme, Here We Grow!

We had a great first day of school at Pine Road! Teachers welcomed students with positive chalk messages, friends connected at recess, and we had our first day of Kindergarten Orientation.

Pine Road families and students attended Meet the Teacher this week! Our students visited their new classrooms, met their teacher, and made connections with friends. Families had an opportunity to visit our Resource Hub where information about school resources was shared. There were lots of smiles! We are looking forward to officially welcoming our students for the first day of school on Tuesday, September 2nd!
